The Problem
The business requirements and specifications of the company were not clear and well defined, as it was a start-up e-Commerce venture. To give an international feel and touch to the business endeavor, the company had to develop across many verticals. The development process of Tribal Monsoon proved to be a tough challenge to Infinity as the software development had to run parallel to the advance in business infrastructure of the company. Mass merchandising was also missing as their products were one-of-a-kind.
The Approach
We appraised and evaluated the client's specifications and needs and developed a model. Infinity helped assess, analyze, and define the client's business requirements as the client refined and developed a fitting business model. Software was developed in agreement to the client's specific business necessities, and functionality was customized to fit the client's business processes. Infinity developed a shopping cart solution that provides one-of-a-kind retail, where products were methodically deleted from inventory when a one-of-a-kind product was purchased to overcome the secondary issue of one-of-a-kind products. Infinity provided a Content Management System (CMS) customized specifically for the client's business.
The Result
Infotak has lost its local touch and has gained the status of a full-scale online retailer of crafts and décor with an international feel from the Indian Subcontinent. The web design, flawless functionality and products came to be applauded by many visitors. The company presently offers many industry-standard web-based features to its clients, including shopping cart transactions, secure payments, and customer account registration. It also provides several marketing-based features like Cross-Sell and Email a Friend, which are engineered to augment sales and expand the firm's clientele. Tribal Monsoon occupies a formidable position with its expanding client base, ever growing revenue and products.
